The Community Trade Free Market is coming to the Daniel Boone Regional Library this June with a simple idea: bring what you no longer need and take home something you’ll love — all completely free.
The event encourages neighbors to swap and share gently used items while helping reduce waste and support the community. Visitors can browse books, household items, décor, craft supplies, games, puzzles, kids clothes, toys, and more. Organizers ask that donated items be clean and gently loved.
The free event takes place Sunday, June 7, from 1:30–3:30 p.m. in the Friends Room at the Daniel Boone Regional Library in Columbia. Along with the community swap, guests can also enjoy snacks, treats, crafts for kids, and time to connect with others in the community.
It’s a fun way to give good items a second life while finding a few new treasures of your own.
