The Columbia Housing Authority’s Moving Ahead Program is kicking off summer with a free community celebration on May 20.
The Summer Send-off event will take place from 3–5:30 p.m. at 301 N. Providence Rd. and is open to the public. Families can enjoy an afternoon filled with food, games, music, bouncy houses, and other activities as the program celebrates the end of the school year and the start of summer break.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring families together for a fun afternoon while recognizing another successful year for the Moving Ahead after-school and summer school program.
The event is free to attend, and community members of all ages are welcome.
