Cooper’s Landing is nearing a major milestone as construction on its new building enters the final stretch. To celebrate, the beloved Missouri River destination is inviting fans to take part in “The Cooper’s Countdown,” a contest that gives participants the chance to win an exclusive VIP prize package by guessing the exact date and time the new building officially opens to the public.
The grand prize is designed to create the ultimate Cooper’s Landing experience. The winner will receive an overnight glamping stay on the riverfront, a $100 Cooper’s Landing gift card to enjoy food, drinks, and live music, plus a special merchandise bundle commemorating the opening of the new building.
Contest participants are asked to submit one guess for the exact date and time the doors will first open for standard public use. Organizers emphasize that the winning moment is not tied to inspections or a future grand opening celebration. Instead, it refers to the very first minute the general public is officially allowed inside the new building.
The winner will be determined by the closest guess without going past the actual opening time. If multiple participants submit the same winning prediction, the prize will go to the person who entered first, based on the form’s timestamp.
Unlike many contests, there is no fixed calendar deadline. Entries will remain open until Cooper’s Landing publicly announces the official opening date on its social media channels. The winner will be contacted directly and announced within 48 hours after the building opens.
