Celebrate the first days of summer and kick off America’s 250th anniversary festivities at a free community fireworks event on June 20 in Columbia.
Hosted by Spirit of ’76 Fireworks Tent, the event will take place behind Midway Antique Mall at Exit 121 and promises an evening filled with family-friendly fun, food, patriotic spirit, and a spectacular fireworks display.
Festivities begin at 7 p.m., giving families plenty of time to find a spot, enjoy activities, and settle in before the fireworks show launches at 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to make the most of the evening.
