If you’ve been wanting to learn quilting or sharpen your piecing skills, this beginner-friendly Tulip & Vine Quilt Class offers a fun and creative afternoon of sewing.
Hosted by My Quilty Pleasure on Saturday, June 27, 2026, the class is based on Sherri McConnell’s popular Tulip & Vine pattern, a cheerful floral design featuring colorful tulips connected by simple vine blocks. The pattern uses 2½-inch fabric strips, making it a great project for jelly roll fabrics and leftover quilting strips.
During the class, students will create:
- Two tulip blocks
- One vine block
- A foundation of skills needed to complete the full pattern at home
The pattern includes options for several finished projects, including:
- Lap quilts
- Table runners
- Mini quilts
- Wall hangings
Designed for confident beginners, the class offers a welcoming environment while still providing enough variety to keep experienced quilters engaged.
