Who doesn’t love stunning views and raising money for the local arts? Don’t miss the North Village Arts District Party on The One of the North Village Arts District’s annual fundraisers is returning this fall with rooftop views, live music, local art and a night celebrating Columbia’s creative community.
Party on the Roof will be held Sunday, October 11, at The Roof at The Broadway Hotel. The event brings together local artists, musicians, supporters and community members while raising money for programs throughout the North Village Arts District.
Live Music, Art and Rooftop Views
The evening runs from 5-8 p.m. and will feature live music from Uncle Funky, featuring David Pruitt, Sean Hennessy, Kevin Hennessy and Jake Hanselman.
Guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres while taking in the rooftop views of downtown Columbia. There will also be a raffle featuring local goods, tickets and artwork, along with a silent auction showcasing work from area artists.
Another special addition this year is the opportunity to take an exclusive tour of the new Walnut Tower and see its amenities and features.
Supporting Columbia’s Arts Community
Proceeds from Party on the Roof support the work of the North Village Arts District and its efforts to promote local artists and musicians.
The organization is behind several familiar Columbia arts initiatives, including First Fridays and the North Village Art Walk, an outdoor art museum made possible with support from the Veterans United Foundation.
The district also operates programs designed to give musicians and artists more opportunities to share their work, including its First Friday Music Program.
