Pool players can put their skills to work for a good cause at the 15th Annual Vincent P. Gurucharri MD Foundation Invitational 9-Ball Tournament on Saturday, October 24.
Held at Billiards on Broadway in downtown Columbia, the Scotch Doubles tournament will raise money to help Mid-Missouri cancer patients experiencing financial need.
15th Annual 9-Ball Tournament Details
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Warm-up: 9:30 a.m.
Tournament: 10 a.m.
Location: Billiards on Broadway, 514 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO
Cost: $100 per two-person team ($50 per player)
The tournament uses a Scotch Doubles alternate-shot format, so players will compete in teams of two.
Participants can look forward to prizes for the first- and second-place teams, plus a special prize for the most creative team name. Every registered player also receives a free meal.
Teams will have the option of a one-time $50 buy-back during the tournament.
Play Pool and Support Local Cancer Patients
The event benefits the Vincent P. Gurucharri MD Foundation, with proceeds helping cancer patients in Mid-Missouri who are facing financial need.
Businesses can also support the fundraiser through corporate, table and cue sponsorship opportunities.
