Families can spend a fall morning exploring Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area during a special birding trip hosted by the Missouri Department of Conservation and Missouri River Bird Observatory.
The outing is open to all birding experience levels, so you don’t need to be an experienced birder to participate. Binoculars and field guides will be provided.
📅 Saturday, October 3
⏰ 8:30–10:30 a.m.
📍 Meet at the Katy Trail McBaine Trailhead Parking Area
The trip will combine carpooling with stops to get out and look for birds, followed by snacks and a closing circle. It’s also an opportunity for families to learn more about the Missouri Young Birders Club.
Children and teens are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
A fun option for families looking to get outside, enjoy the fall weather and learn more about Missouri’s birds!
