Crowns and Capes at Community United Methodist Church

If you’re looking for something a little different (and honestly pretty adorable), this one’s all about dressing up and making memories and dancing the night away!

Crowns and Capes is happening on May 9 from 5–7 PM at Community United Methodist Church (3301 W Broadway)—and it’s built for families who want a fun, low-key evening together.

Think princesses, superheroes, and everything in between. Kids (and parents, if you’re feeling it) can show up in their favorite crowns, capes, or costumes and just enjoy the dance.

The event includes a free photo booth and snacks, so there’s plenty of opportunity to capture the night without having to plan much.

Cost is $25 per couple + $5 for each additional child, making it a pretty accessible option for a full evening out.

It’s simple, it’s playful, and it’s one of those events that leans more into connection than complexity—which, honestly, is sometimes exactly what you want.
