All ages – all the BEST things to do.

Mid-Missouri Nature Renewal

If you’ve been craving a reset—or just a day to slow down and reconnect—this one feels a little different from your typical weekend event. 🌿

Mid-Missouri Nature Renewal is happening Saturday, May 2 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Runge Conservation Nature Center, and it’s designed as a full-day retreat focused on community, nature, and practical ways to live more intentionally.

Led by Sami Aaron, founder of The Resilient Activist, and co-hosted by the Missouri River Bird Observatory, the event centers around five simple but meaningful ideas: reconnecting with nature, respecting all life, restoring ecosystems, rethinking how we spend, and replenishing resources.

It’s not just talk—you’ll walk away with real ways to apply these ideas in everyday life, whether that’s in your home, your habits, or your community. The setting at Runge adds to it, making it feel more like a reset than a workshop.

If you’re looking for something thoughtful, a little slower paced, and genuinely refreshing, this is one to consider.
