Looking for an unforgettable summer experience for your budding scientist? Mizzou Rocks Day Camp gives kids the chance to dig into the fascinating world of geology, fossils, and prehistoric life through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration.
Designed for students entering 4th through 6th grade in the 2026β27 school year, this one-day camp combines learning and adventure on the University of Missouri campus. Campers will explore rocks, minerals, fossils, and geologic history while participating in interactive activities that bring science to life.
Highlights include building a volcano, investigating fossils, exploring Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, and discovering what life was like during prehistoric times. Campers will also enjoy a variety of engaging science activities led by experts in the field.

β° Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
π§π§ Grades: Incoming 4thβ6th graders
π² Cost: $50 per session
π Includes: T-shirt, materials, snacks, lunch, and transportation for the park visit
Each session features the same content, so families only need to register for one day. Scholarships are available to help make camp accessible to more students.
