Breakfast Station Day by Local Motion

If you need a little motivation to skip the car for a morning, this is a pretty great incentive. (breakfast picture is a stock photo, does not indicate actual breakfast food that will be served)

Breakfast Station Day invites you to walk, bike, or take transit—and get rewarded with free breakfast along the way. Stations will be set up around Columbia on May 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 AM, and you can visit as many as you want during that window.

It’s flexible, too. Stop by the one closest to your route, or turn it into a mini challenge and hit a few different spots before starting your day. Bringing a reusable mug is encouraged if you want coffee to-go.

This year’s stations include Flat Branch Park, the Activity & Recreation Center, Lions-Stephens Park, the MKT Trail (Forum access), Wabash bus station, Beet Box, One-to-One Print Shop, and the Ash/Aldeah intersection.

Ash/Aldeah intersection: Grassy field on the corner

Flat Branch Park: 101 S. 4th St.

Activity & Recreation Center: 1701 W. Ash St.

MKT Trail : Forum Boulevard Access: 2701 Forum Boulevard

Wabash bus station: 126 N. 10th St.

It’s simple, free, and a fun way to start your morning while trying something a little different around town.
