Grab your bike—or your walking shoes—and explore downtown Columbia during Bikes, Bites & Brews on Wednesday, June 10.
Hosted by Local Motion, this popular annual event combines cycling, local food and craft beverage samples into a relaxed evening designed to showcase Columbia’s vibrant downtown while supporting safer, more connected streets for everyone.
The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and is open to adults ages 21 and older. Participants will check in at CycleX, located at 203 N. Providence Road, before heading out to visit participating stops throughout downtown. The route is intentionally flat and walkable, allowing both cyclists and pedestrians to enjoy the experience at their own pace.
Each participant receives a stamp card and can create their own route between stops. At each location, guests can collect a stamp and enjoy complimentary sample-sized pours paired with appetizers. There is no required order, making it easy to explore with friends and customize the evening.
Check-in begins at 5:15 p.m. at CycleX, with participants hitting the town at 6 p.m. The evening concludes with checkout at Broadway Brewery between 7:45 and 8 p.m.
Advance tickets are $45 and include registration, samples and appetizers. Day-of-event registration will be $55. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup, though Local Motion cups will also be available for purchase at check-in.
A bike mechanic will be stationed along the route to provide support for riders who experience mechanical issues during the event.
Proceeds from Bikes, Bites & Brews help support Local Motion’s efforts to improve transportation options and create safer streets for cyclists, pedestrians and all road users throughout Columbia.
