Summer Sesh is open to adults ages 21 and older, or 18 and older with a valid medical card. Admission is $10 and tickets will be available at the door.
Summer Sesh is back on Saturday, June 6, bringing a full day of entertainment, local vendors and live glass-blowing competitions to Bur Oak Brewery in Columbia.
Running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event will feature two glass-blowing challenges where local artists will compete in front of a live audience. Attendees can also browse glass vendors, arts and crafts booths, food trucks and products from Missouri-based businesses throughout the day.
One of the featured competitions is a Lego Figure Challenge from noon to 1:30 p.m. Competitors will have 90 minutes to create a figure using at least five colors and one accessory. Entries must be no taller than three inches, and participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies and tools. Judges will evaluate entries based on skill, likeness, difficulty and creativity, with first place receiving a $400 cash prize and prize package.
In addition to the competitions, guests can explore vendor booths, enjoy food and beverages, and check out demonstrations from local artists and creators.
The event takes place at Bur Oak Brewery, located at 8250 E. Trade Center Drive in Columbia.
