There’s a new place to relax, recharge and try something completely different in Columbia. Vessel Club is now open, bringing a communal sauna and cold plunge experience to the community.
Located at 210 Saint James St., Suite D in Columbia, Vessel Club combines hot sauna sessions with cold plunges in a space designed around wellness, mindfulness and community. Guests can choose from freestyle sessions or guided experiences that may incorporate breathwork, meditation and sound immersion.
The concept is about more than simply getting hot and jumping into cold water. Vessel was created as a place where people can slow down, disconnect from everyday distractions and connect with themselves and others.
During a typical freestyle visit, guests move through rounds of sauna, cool rinses and cold plunges before having time to relax in the lounge. Guided sessions add another element to the experience, and Vessel also plans to offer specialty events.
For Columbia, it’s a pretty unique addition to the local wellness scene — and certainly not your typical gym, spa or fitness studio.
