Starting Saturday, August 1, 2026, MU Health Care is making it easier to get same-day medical care with the opening of new walk-in Express Care clinics in both Columbia and Jefferson City.
The new Columbia location will be inside the Battle Avenue Medical Building on East St. Charles Road, while the Jefferson City clinic will open at the family medicine location on Madison Street. Both clinics will provide convenient walk-in care with extended evening and weekend hours for illnesses and minor injuries.
Express Care Hours
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Quick Care Clinics Closing
As the new Express Care locations open, MU Health Care will permanently close its current Quick Care clinics after business on Friday, July 31, 2026, including:
- All three Columbia Quick Care clinics located inside Hy-Vee stores
- The Jefferson City Quick Care location
If you’ve previously visited one of the Hy-Vee Quick Care clinics, you’ll be able to receive the same convenient walk-in care beginning August 1 at the new MU Health Care Express Care locations.
