Memorial Funeral Home is partnering with the American Red Cross for a November blood drive in Columbia, giving local residents another opportunity to donate and help patients in need.
The drive will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, with appointments available throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Power Red Donations Encouraged
Eligible donors with O-, B- or A- blood types are encouraged to consider making a Power Red donation. This type of donation collects red blood cells, which the Red Cross notes are the most commonly transfused blood component.
Those interested in donating can make an appointment ahead of time through the American Red Cross website or Blood Donor App.
