Mid-Missouri pet owners are getting a new option for those in-between moments when something’s wrong—but it’s not quite an emergency.
UrgentPet Columbia is set to open in late summer 2026, bringing the area’s first veterinary urgent care clinic to Columbia. The locally owned, family-run practice will focus on same-day care for pets who need quick attention without heading straight to an emergency hospital.
The goal is simple: help fill that gap between routine vet visits and true emergencies, while also supporting local veterinary clinics and ERs.
