Kids will have the chance to get up close with trucks, emergency vehicles, and all kinds of big equipment during this free family-friendly Touch a Truck event at the Columbia Mall.
Families can explore the vehicles, climb inside, sit behind the wheel, and even honk the horns while meeting the people who operate them.
The event is free to attend and designed as a hands-on experience for kids who love construction vehicles, first responder trucks, and other large machinery.
Organizers also noted that a separate Sensory Friendly Touch a Truck event for families with children who have sensory sensitivities will take place in October at Rainbow Softball Center.
The event is sponsored by Columbia Mall, Mid-Missouri Dental Center, and Nash FM.
