Things are about to get a little spooky on the MKT Trail! The Monster Bike Bash Resurrection returns to Columbia on Saturday, October 24, for an 18-mile Halloween-themed bicycle ride filled with costumes, music, trail parties and plenty of shenanigans.
The ride is FREE to participate, but organizers say riders are expected to bring their best party spirit. Costumes are strongly encouraged!

🚲 Check-in: 8:45 a.m.
⏰ Ride departure: 9–9:30 a.m., with a group departure around 9:20
📍 Start/finish: 101 S. 4th St., near Flat Branch Park in Columbia
💰 Cost: FREE
👻 Distance: Approximately 18 miles
The group will head out on the MKT Trail, with several Halloween-themed stops planned along the route. Riders can expect everything from a bridge party and trail shenanigans to music, food and a costume contest.
The schedule includes stops at Triangle Circle, Hindman Junction and Jay Dix Station. The Trail Goon Social begins at Jay Dix at 2 p.m., followed by the costume contest at 3 p.m.
Riders should bring their own food and drinks for the trail, including some to share if they’d like. A post-ride party at Trailstop Brewery is also planned, with additional details to be announced.
Free weekend parking is available nearby, including the Eighth & Walnut, Sixth & Cherry and Tenth & Cherry parking garages.
Come dressed as your alter ego, decorate your bike and prepare for one of the more unusual Halloween events happening around Columbia this October. Riders participate at their own risk.
