Get creative while learning more about Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) during a hands-on workshop hosted by Como Craftcycle Collective.
Mexican-American fiber artist Marina G. Cano will lead participants through creating their own paper mache ofrenda pieces using recycled materials. The workshop will include sculpting, painting and decorating, along with an opportunity to learn more about the traditions and meaning behind the celebration.
No previous crafting experience is needed, and the workshop is open to everyone, including complete beginners.
