Meet Adoptable Dogs and Enjoy a Fall Afternoon
The pups are a big part of this event. Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue will have adoptable dogs on hand, giving visitors a chance to meet some of the animals currently searching for their new families.
There will also be plenty happening beyond the adoption meet-and-greets. Families can enjoy apple bobbing, pumpkin decorating for kids, a fall-themed bake sale, a seasonal photo opportunity and local vendors. Dogs can even get in on the games with hot dog bobbing for the pups.
Live Music, Food and Celebrity Bartenders
Columbia favorite Clay Cumbie will provide live music throughout the afternoon from 1–4 p.m. Celebrity bartenders will also be joining the festivities, and guests can grab food and drinks while they hang out.
There is no admission charge, so visitors can stop by for a while or make an afternoon of it. Proceeds raised during Harvest for Hounds will help support the work of Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue.
Kids, friends and dogs are all welcome, making this an easy Sunday outing for anyone looking for some fall fun while supporting a local animal rescue.
