Halloween Favorites by Candlelight
The tentative program mixes classical pieces with some of the most recognizable music from Halloween movies, television and pop culture.
Guests can expect selections including Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the themes from Halloween, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Ghostbusters and Stranger Things, plus a medley from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The program also includes classical favorites that fit right into spooky season, including “Danse Macabre,” “Night on Bald Mountain” and “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”
A Different Kind of Halloween Night Out
Rather than costumes, haunted houses or trick-or-treating, this event offers a quieter way to celebrate Halloween weekend in downtown Columbia. The Historic Grand Ballroom will be illuminated with candlelight while the Lisetso String Quartet performs the evening’s Halloween-inspired program.
