Ready to step back in time for a weekend of medieval adventure? The Central Missouri Renfaire returns October 24–25, bringing two days of live entertainment, medieval combat, colorful costumes, unique vendors, and plenty of food and fun.
Visitors can explore the fictional village of Carlingford, where musicians, performers, merchants, and costumed characters bring the Renaissance faire experience to life. Whether you’re arriving in full medieval attire, dressed as a pirate, or simply coming to enjoy the festivities, everyone is welcome.
Throughout the weekend, guests can catch live music on multiple stages, watch medieval combat demonstrations, and experience black powder and cannon demonstrations. Other attractions include trebuchet demonstrations, a mayoral election, flying fae, a pub sing, and a pub crawl.
Families can also visit the Children’s Realm, while shoppers can browse merchandise from new and returning vendors. Food and drink options will be available throughout the faire, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to take a break between performances and activities.
Bring Canned Food and Save on Admission
This year’s Central Missouri Renfaire is once again supporting the Voluntary Action Center of Columbia through a community food drive.
Visitors who bring two non-expired canned food items to the gate will receive $2 off their admission price. It’s an easy opportunity to save a little money while helping local individuals and families in need.
Costumes and Weapons Guidelines
Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion, and replica weapons are welcome as part of costumes.
Anyone bringing a steel sword, dagger, or other steel weapon must have it peace-bound before entering the faire. This can be done at the entrance, but guests must bring a sheath for their weapon. Real firearms are not permitted inside the faire.
