Families, nature enthusiasts and butterfly lovers are invited to the 9th Annual Butterfly Festival at the MU Jefferson Farm and Garden in Columbia on June 13th from 9AM – 2 PM.
Hosted by MU Extension, this popular community event offers a day dedicated to the fascinating world of butterflies through educational exhibits, hands-on activities and outdoor exploration. The festival has become a favorite summer tradition for families looking to learn more about pollinators and the important role they play in Missouri’s ecosystems.
Visitors can explore butterfly habitats, discover the life cycle of these colorful insects and participate in interactive activities designed for all ages.
