Farmers market season is officially back—and opening day always brings a little bit of everything.
The Boone County Missouri Farmers Market is kicking off on May 2nd from 8 AM – 11 AM at the Columbia Mall parking lot (Dillard’s side), with vendors rolling in early-season favorites like tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh eggs, and plenty of baked goods. Think sourdough, focaccia, ciabatta, cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies, and more, plus herb and veggie plants if you’re ready to start your own garden.
It’s one of those markets where you can grab breakfast, shop local, and walk away with something fresh for the week. And as the season goes on, the selection only gets better as more fruits and vegetables start to come in.
Easy stop, good food, and a solid way to kick off the weekend.
