All ages – all the BEST things to do.

Annual Military History Appreciation Encampment Weekend

The Museum of Missouri Military History in Jefferson City is hosting a two-day event featuring living historians representing military conflicts from the Revolutionary War through the Vietnam War.

You’ll be able to walk through different eras, see uniforms and equipment up close, and get a more hands-on look at history than you’d find in a typical exhibit. There will also be local authors on-site doing book signings, plus both indoor displays and outdoor vehicle exhibits to explore.

It’s free to attend and open to the public, though adults will need to show ID at the gate.

Whether you’re into history or just looking for something a little different to do, it’s an easy, educational outing just down the road.
