Calling all Columbia dog lovers! Yappy Hour is returning to Twin Lakes Recreation Area on Saturday, October 17 from 2–5 p.m., and Columbia Parks and Recreation is giving the event a new family-friendly twist.

Bring your pup along for an afternoon featuring dog-related vendors, adoptable dogs from local rescues, craft beer and activities for both pets and their people.

🐾 Date: Saturday, October 17

📍 Where: Twin Lakes Recreation Area, Columbia, MO

Activities planned for the afternoon include a paw print craft station, where families can make a keepsake with their dog’s paw print, plus a tie-dye bandana station to create something colorful for your pup.

Dogs can also try out an obstacle course or burn off some energy with off-leash playtime at the dog park. Pet vendors will be on hand with treats, toys, supplies and other goodies.

Local rescues will also bring adoptable dogs, so you might even meet a new four-legged family member while you’re there.
