Families looking for a fun outdoor activity this summer can head to Rock Bridge Memorial State Park for a hands-on Water Festival focused on streams, wildlife, and nature exploration. 💧🐢
The free event takes place Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to noon and is designed for ages 4 and up. Visitors will have the chance to explore water-themed activities, meet animals that live in local streams, and learn more about keeping waterways healthy.
Activities planned for the morning include guided tours of Connor’s Cave, catching bugs in the stream, meeting a turtle, learning about local fish and birds, discovering nature stories, and experimenting with a working stream model.

Guests should park at the Gilbert Picnic Shelter, where shuttle service will run every 15 minutes to the Devil’s Icebox parking lot throughout the event.
The festival is hosted by Missouri State Parks and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
