Summer Youth Theatre Workshop

If your kid loves to perform—or just wants to build confidence and try something new—this weeklong theatre workshop is a creative experience they won’t forget. 🎭🌱

Hosted by the GreenHouse Theatre Company, this immersive program gives kids the chance to explore theatre from the ground up. From day one, participants will jump into theatre games, improvisation, and collaborative storytelling, all designed to build confidence, creativity, and connection within their group.

Throughout the week, students will work together to write and develop their own original script, create unique characters, and bring their ideas to life. The experience wraps up with a final performance on stage at Talking Horse Productions—but the focus stays on the process, growth, and fun along the way.

🎭 Final performance: Saturday, August 8 at 10 AM

👧 Age Groups & Times
Sprouts (Ages 5–8): 9 AM – 12 PM
Composters (Ages 9–12): 9 AM – 12 PM
Weeds (Ages 13–16): 9 AM – 3 PM

📍 Locations
Workshop: Missouri United Methodist Church at 204 S 9th Street
Performance: Talking Horse Productions at 210 Saint James Street

💰 Cost
Sprouts & Composters: $220 ($200 for additional siblings)
Weeds: $300 ($280 for additional siblings)

Each group is limited to just 12 participants, keeping the experience small, hands-on, and collaborative. Registration is open now and spots are expected to fill quickly, with priority given to GTP members.
