See Saturn Up Close During Two Nights of Stargazing

Saturn is taking center stage for a special weekend of stargazing just south of Columbia! The Central Missouri Astronomical Association is inviting the public to its “Satur-Nights” event on November 13 and 14 at the Boone County Nature School Observatory.

From 6:30 to 8 p.m. each evening, visitors can enjoy views of Saturn and explore the autumn night sky.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own telescopes, binoculars, or other observing equipment. Since clear skies are important for viewing, the event will depend on favorable weather conditions.

The observatory is located approximately one mile south of Deer Park along Highway 63, accessible by taking the west outer road at the Deer Park store.
