A new Mediterranean restaurant is getting ready to open in downtown Columbia. SAVA Mediterranean has announced plans to bring fast, fresh Mediterranean food to the area, emphasizing meals that are both convenient and packed with flavor.
The restaurant is still under construction, and it has not yet announced an opening date. It will be located in the old space that was once occupied by A Little More, at 1010 E. Broadway.
What to Expect at SAVA Mediterranean
SAVA describes its concept as “real Mediterranean, made fast, made fresh.” The upcoming menu is expected to include several protein options, including:
- Chicken
- Beef
- Falafel
- Salmon
The restaurant is positioning itself as a healthier quick-service option for Columbia while still focusing on flavorful meals.
Late-Night Food in Downtown Columbia
One detail that could make SAVA especially popular with the downtown and college crowd is its planned late-night schedule.
According to the restaurant, SAVA plans to stay open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, giving downtown Columbia another option for food well into the night.

SAVA Mediterranean has not announced an official opening date yet. The restaurant says it is finishing construction and encourages customers to follow along for updates as it gets closer to opening.
