After years of planning and community support, the VAC Opportunity Campus is preparing to open its next major space in Boone County. 🏠
Voluntary Action Center is inviting the public to a special open house June 25, offering a first look inside the nearly completed campus designed to support neighbors experiencing homelessness with shelter, meals, medical care, mental health services, and pet accommodations all in one location.
Guests will be able to take a self-guided tour through multiple areas of the campus, including the new Hub building, Waypoint Shelter, New Day Columbia Day Center, Campus Companions Kennel, Loaves and Fishes commercial kitchen, and the Cindy Mustard Resource Center.

Staff members will be available throughout the event to answer questions and explain how services will operate once the campus officially opens in July.
Registration is free but required, and organizers say space is limited. Registration closes June 11. Register here.
