Meditation + Tea
“You can’t pour from an empty cup” is a metaphor emphasizing that you cannot care for or support others if you are physically, mentally, or emotionally depleted. It highlights that self-care is not selfish, but necessary for well-being and, ultimately, to have the capacity to give to others.
Take time to fill your cup! We’ll start with 30 minutes of mindfulness meditation with gentle yoga stretches.
About mindfulness mediation:
Sarah’s Yoga Studio offeres:
-Yoga mats for participants. (Chairs are also available.)
-Cultivating awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without judgment.
-Exploring that thought patterns are often habits and habits can be changed.
Followed by 30 minutes of mindfulness coloring pages/journaling with tea. Continue the mindfulness you learned during mediation to remain in the moment during tea to notice all that the tea has to offer, its scent, heat, color, etc.
