There’s something extra special about a blanket you made yourself! A Hand-Knitted Throw Class is happening Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Midway Heights Baptist Church, giving participants a chance to create their own chunky knit blanket just in time for the colder months.
No knitting experience is needed for this beginner-friendly workshop. Participants will receive step-by-step instructions and six skeins of chunky yarn to create a throw blanket. Choose from 10 colors, including cream, dusty pink, lavender, forest green, and more.
The $85 class fee covers all supplies, instruction, snacks, and drinks. You’ll spend the morning learning a new skill and leave with a handmade blanket to keep or give as a Christmas gift.
