Young dancers in Columbia can learn from Kansas City Ballet School without making the trip to Kansas City! Columbia Ballet Academy is hosting a special master class on Sunday, November 8, 2026, for dancers ages 9–14.
Taryn Ouellette, Principal of Kansas City Ballet School, will lead the class, giving students a chance to strengthen their ballet skills and learn from an experienced instructor. Participants will also have the chance to audition for Kansas City Ballet School’s 2027 Junior Summer Intensive.
The 90-minute class costs $30, and dancers currently studying pointe should bring their pointe shoes. Space is available, but registration is required.
