Harvest Moon Farm’s Kids Farm Camp 2026 is built around hands-on experiences—think animal care, outdoor play, and learning where food actually comes from, all wrapped into a full day on the farm just outside Columbia. (goat picture not an actual goat at the farm, just a stock image)
Kids ages 6–12 will spend their day hiking, helping with farm chores, doing crafts, and yes… even goat yoga and animal snuggles. There’s also swimming built into the day, so it balances learning with just being a kid in the summer.
Each day runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with small groups (limited to 20 kids), which keeps it more personal and less chaotic than larger camps.
What a typical day looks like:
Morning starts with check-in and a quick welcome before jumping into chores and time with the animals. After snack, kids move into goat yoga and a short devotional, then outdoor games and a nature hike. Midday includes lunch and crafts, followed by hands-on activities like making goat cheese or even ice cream. Afternoons lean into team games, scavenger hunts, and swimming before winding down.
Camp dates are spread throughout the summer:
June 12, 23, 24
July 2, 10
August 6, 7
Cost is $65 per day, and it’s located at Harvest Moon Farm in Rocheport, about a 10–15 minute drive from Columbia.
Beyond just the schedule, the focus here is pretty clear: slowing down, getting outside, and giving kids a chance to connect—with nature, animals, and each other—in a way that’s getting harder to find.
Spots are limited, so this is one of those “don’t wait too long” registrations if it sounds like a fit.
