Columbia’s breakfast scene is getting another addition! The Big Biscuit, a popular breakfast and lunch restaurant known for hearty comfort food and hometown hospitality, is preparing to open a new location in south Columbia.
The restaurant will be located at 503 E. Nifong Blvd., next to Hy-Vee near the intersection of Nifong and Providence. The new location is expected to open in late 2026, although an official opening date has not been announced. (We’ll be watching and will update when there is one!)
The Big Biscuit specializes in classic American breakfast and lunch favorites, including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, omelets, and other comfort food dishes. The restaurant focuses on generous portions and a welcoming, family-friendly dining experience.
