Columbia’s Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway is back, giving residents a chance to take home seedlings and add something lasting to their yard (or favorite planting spot).
📅 When: Saturday, April 25 | starts at 8 AM (until gone)
📍 Where: MU Health Care Pavilion (Columbia Farmers Market), 1769 Ash St
🌱 Limit: 2 seedlings per person
You’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of trees, including redbud, paw paw, pecan, bur oak, black walnut, tulip poplar, witch hazel, and more—everything from shade trees to native favorites.
This is a simple, first-come, first-served setup, so showing up early is the move if you want the best selection.
It’s an easy way to do something small that actually grows into something big—for your yard and the community.
