Night of the Living Grown Folks: Back to the '80s Halloween Party

The kids don’t get to have all the Halloween fun this year. The P.E.A.C.E. & H.O.P.E. Center for Youth is planning a Night of the Living Grown Folks: Back to the ’80s Halloween Party in Columbia.

This adults-only night is a chance to dress up, dance, play games and enjoy an evening out with other grown-ups in the community. DJ KC will provide the music, and there will be food, concessions and plenty of Halloween fun throughout the night.

Break Out Your Best ’80s Halloween Look

Costumes are encouraged, especially since a Best Costume Contest is planned for the night. With a Back to the ’80s theme, there’s plenty of room to have fun with the decade, whether you go full neon, channel an ’80s movie character or come up with your own Halloween creation.

Along with dancing and music, guests can expect games, concessions and a food truck. The will also be card games, dominoes and other activities for those who want to do more than hit the dance floor.

A Halloween Night Just for the Adults

The event is being presented by the P.E.A.C.E. & H.O.P.E. Center for Youth as a chance for adults in the community to relax, laugh and have a little Halloween fun of their own.

Bring good vibes, your best costume, and get ready for a night that throws things back to the ’80s.

The event is card-only with no cash accepted, so attendees will want to plan accordingly.
