Vintage shoppers have a new store to check out in downtown Columbia. Reloved By Pea will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, September 26, at noon, bringing vintage fashion, collectible accessories and more than 100 vintage Coach bags to Locust Street.
The Y2K-inspired shop is located at 806 Locust Street.
The business is owned by Mizzou alum Madison Frazio, who has built the shop around carefully selected vintage pieces, affordable pricing and a fun in-person shopping experience.
More Than 100 Vintage Coach Bags for Opening Day
One of the biggest draws for the grand opening will be the store’s collection of 100+ vintage Coach bags.
The bags will be released when doors open at noon and will be available first come, first served. Reloved By Pea says the collection will be priced below current market prices.
Frazio said keeping items affordable for local shoppers, particularly college students, was important when putting together the store’s inventory.
Shoppers can expect more than purses, too. Reloved By Pea will carry vintage clothing and collectibles, with imperfections in vintage merchandise disclosed before purchase.
Bag Charms, Sonny Angels and a Shop Dog
Reloved By Pea is also adding a few features that make the store more of an experience than a traditional vintage clothing shop.
Customers can visit a bag-charm bar, browse the vintage Coach purse wall and shop authentic Sonny Angels and other collectibles. The store will also have seating and complimentary snacks for shoppers.
And then there’s Pea.
The store is named in part for Pea, Frazio’s shop dog, who serves as the heart and inspiration behind the Reloved By Pea brand. Customers may even get to meet Pea while visiting the shop.
