Good food, live music, and community recognition are on the menu as Mid-Missouri Peaceworks hosts its 37th Annual Dinner on Saturday, November 7, at First Christian Church in downtown Columbia.
The annual potluck brings community members together to celebrate their shared commitment to peace, justice, and sustainability. This year’s event will recognize Melinda Hemmelgarn, Annette Velasco, and the West Ash Neighborhood Association for their contributions. Guests can also enjoy musical entertainment by Sam D’Agostino.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share based on the first letter of their last name. Suggested contributions include main dishes (A–I), salads or vegetables (J–P), beverages (Q–R), desserts (S), and appetizers (T–Z). Those bringing drinks or appetizers should arrive by 5:50 p.m. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
