Cooper’s Landing is getting spooky this Halloween! On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the popular Missouri River destination is hosting Halloween Fun on the River, featuring live music, pumpkin carving, costumes, campsite decorating and food.
For the first time, Cooper’s Landing is encouraging campers to decorate their campsites for Halloween. From skeletons and spiderwebs to pumpkins and spooky decorations, campers can transform the riverside campground into a Halloween village.
Visitors can also enjoy pumpkin carving, with pumpkins and carving supplies provided by Cooper’s Landing. The best carved pumpkin of the day will win a Cooper’s Landing gift card.
Live music will keep the celebration going throughout the afternoon and evening. The Diddy Wah Daddies will perform from 2–5 p.m., followed by Fool’s Face, a longtime Columbia band, from 6–9 p.m. Trail Boss BBQ & Catering will also be on-site serving food.
There are a few Halloween treats for adults, too! Anyone wearing a costume or decorating their campsite can receive $1 off any drink or half off Oktoberfest beers.
