Before Thanksgiving dinner, Columbia families can get moving at the annual Fleet Feet Turkey Trax 5K on Thursday, November 26, 2026. This popular Thanksgiving morning tradition brings runners, walkers, friends, and families together for a fun and active start to the holiday.
Organized by Ultramax Sports, the family-friendly 5K takes participants through downtown Columbia, starting and finishing at Fourth and Cherry streets near Flat Branch Park. Whether you’re hoping to set a personal record or simply enjoy a morning walk with loved ones, participants of different fitness levels are welcome.
Registered participants will receive a commemorative BOCO Fleet Feet Columbia Turkey Trax stocking cap while supplies last. Early registration is encouraged for those hoping to get one!
The event also features Ultramax chip timing with live results, post-race snacks and beverages, and awards for overall finishers and age groups. There’s even a Thanksgiving-themed incentive for competitive runners: age division winners can take home a pie for their holiday dessert!
Packet pickup will be available Wednesday, November 25, from noon to 6:30 p.m., or on race morning from 7–8:15 a.m.
