Calling all art fans! The Capital Arts Chalk Art Fair is happening this weekend! It’s time to let your creativity and imagination soar.
Let your chalk creation transform the sidewalks of Memorial Park – leave your mark and style.
This is perfect for anyone who wants to try something new and fun, or is a seasoned artist – all are welcome!
There will also be live music, food options, local art vendors, and more.
How it works
- Chalk drawing starts anytime after 11:00 AM
- Pick up your chalk and assignment at the registration table near the Pavilion
- Create anything you can imagine—realism, abstract, cartoons, portraits, or even recreate your favorite painting
- Judging starts promptly at 4:00 PM
- Cash prizes will be awarded in each category!
